Once elected I, _______________ (candidate name) will work hard for the residents of Bloomington in the following ways:

    1) Vote against any tax property increases during my term.

    2) Cut the $609,000 budget for Cultural/Special Events, and work with community organizations to develop and maintain these events.

    3) Utilize consultant services instead of hiring permanent staff in the areas of Legal, City Planning, and Inspections.

    4) Work with businesses to attract more jobs.

    5) Use an open bid process to redevelop abandoned properties, this will allow us to utilize more of the money for actual redevelopment.
